AFTER SCHOOL CARE (ASC) GENERAL INFORMATION 2026-2027

**PLEASE NOTE THE SLIGHT INCREASE IN WEEKLY/MONTHLY FEES ON THE FEE SCHEDULE**

  • REMIND GROUP: Please sign up for the ASC Remind Group. You can either download the REMIND App and enter the code @bvesasc (include the @ sign). You may also join the ASC group without the app, text this code @bvesasc to 81010. Please use this form of communication to alert me about pickup person change, questions about your balance, etc.

  • Hours of After School Care: Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (on regular school days only, NOT on Early Release Days)

  • Registration: 

    • $11 nonrefundable  -  one-time registration fee  -  per student, per school year by utilizing School Cash Online.

    • Students that are not registered will not be allowed to stay in ASC until the necessary paperwork and fees are submitted.

  • Student Fees:
    • All fees are due in advance! - All fees are due prior to, or on the first day, a student attends for the  week or month. Fee schedules will be given to parents at the beginning of the school year, and additional copies will be available in ASC as needed. Fees can be paid by the week or month. 
    • Drop-in fees must be paid in advance or the morning of attendance.

    • Any student account carrying a balance due, regardless of the amount, will not be allowed to attend ASC until balance is paid. Students will be sent to the office, and parents will be called to come and pick up their child.

    • If your child is considered full-time in ASC, payments are due every Tuesday.

    • If your child is a drop in, the fee is due on the day they attend. 

    • Weekly reminders will not be given.  Please take care of payments by Tuesdays. 

    • Full payment is required for each day your child attends ASC - regardless of if he/she is picked up prior to 5:30 p.m.
    • Daily Fee: $8 per child, per day (a snack is provided).

    • Full-time students charged a discounted rate of $30 for 1 child and $52 for 2 children and cannot receive any further discount. Student must attend 3 or more days a week to be considered for full-time rate.

      o   Example: Full-time student paid $30 on Tuesday. Student attends ASC Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Credit is not given.  If full-time student paid $30 on Tuesday and only attends ASC on Monday and Tuesday—student will have a credit of $14 as those two days will count as drop-in days at $8 each.

    • The weekly rates run Monday – Friday of the same week.

    • Monthly fees are attached and do save some money as it is based on the amount of days in that period.

    • Late Pick-Up Fee: $5 (5:31 P.M. to 5:36 P.M.), per child, + $1 per minute (beginning at 5:37 P.M.)

    • Repeated Late Payments: After 3 late payments, a $10 fee will be charged.

  • How to use School Cash Online (SCO) to pay fees:

    • School Cash Online (SCO) Registration Fee—(FOR EACH STUDENT)

      1.         Login to SCO. Click BVES AFTERCARE REGISTRATION

      2.         Fill out all information.

      3.         Pay $11 fee.

    • School Cash Online (SCO) daily, weekly, monthly payments

      1.         Login to SCO. Click BVES AFTERCARE PROGRAM. If you have multiple students, only use ONE student’s account to pay the entire fee.

      2.         Type in the amount you want to pay towards your fee.

      3.         Pay fee.

  • Parent/Guardian Pickup Guidelines:

    • Please be quick at signing the student out and time of pickup.

    • Please do not use foul language.

    • Please do not linger with our ASC workers as they are busy keeping the students safe.

  • There will be no ASC on any of our Early Release Days.

  • Parents are responsible for all after school transportation.

  • No medicine will be administered by ASC personnel.

  • Students from other schools are not allowed to join our After School Care Program.

  • ASC is not a homework center, but we do our best to complete homework daily. However, there are times when we cannot complete homework and appreciate your understanding with this matter. 

  • We try our best to provide a quiet place and time for students to complete homework; however, parents are asked to check their child’s homework at home. ASC personnel are not responsible for checking to make sure that work is completed or completed correctly.

  • Students are not allowed to return to their classrooms for any items that were forgotten.  Please stress responsibility and the importance in packing correctly before leaving their classrooms. 

  • Our ASC Program was established to provide a safe, inexpensive, after school environment for our students whose parents’ work; therefore, any student who misbehaves in ASC will be subjected to the same disciplinary actions that would be taken during regular school hours. (See Behavior Contract)

  • Students are not allowed to bring snacks to ASC.

  • Students are not allowed to bring ANY toys or trinkets from home.

  • Please notify us of any changes to contact information ASAP.
