Mrs. Michele Besse

Hello! I'm Michele Besse, and I've been teaching for twenty-eight years. I graduated from Nicholls State University in 1997 with a bachelor's degree in elementary education 1st-8th grade, and an add-on certification for Health & PE. I've helped coach soccer and softball when my daughters were young, and I've been a dance mom behind the scenes, helping for 22 years. I'm also our school's Web Administrator.  I'm married to my best friend, Mr. Tate, and we have three daughters & two sons-in-law who all came to school here at BVES!  My philosophy of teaching is to build a love for exercise, encourage healthy eating, and set a strong growth mindset in a positive environment so that all children can achieve! On the weekends, I enjoy walking the lake trail with my daughters and granddaughters, cooking big meals, and fall football games. I'm so excited to be able to have fun moving and growing strong healthy bodies with all our Gators!
