Mrs. Bridget Mabile

My name is Bridget Gros Mabile. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Upper and Lower Elementary Education from Nicholls State University. My certification is 1st through 8th grade. I'm also certified to teach Health and PE for grades k-12. I student-taught here at Bayou Vista Elementary many years ago and never left...always a Gator! I've spent 24 years here at BVE teaching 5th Grade with instruction on Reading and Social Studies, and 2 years as a PE and Art teacher. I couldn't be more excited!! I've always valued fitness and I believe both physical exercise and art are important in a person's life as a stress-relief and to explore one's creativity and abilities. I also believe creativity and abilities can grow, and my goal is to help students accomplish growth in both while having fun along the way. In the past, I've coached multiple sports, including t-ball, basketball, softball, and soccer. In my spare time, I enjoy boxing, jujitsu, and Zumba. As always, I'm looking forward to another great year working with our amazing kids at BVE! With that said, I think every child is unique and should be encouraged to always try their personal best in all they do. I feel that I am blessed to be able to work with our Bayou Vista Elementary students every day.
