Hi Gator families! I’m so excited to start my third year of teaching here at Bayou Vista Elementary. This is actually my fourth year at the school because I was lucky enough to complete my student teaching here, so it already feels like home.

    I earned my bachelor’s degree with certifications in Birth–Five Early Intervention and Grades 1–5 in 2023, and I also hold a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction which I earned in 2024. But more than anything, I’m passionate about building strong connections with my students and keeping open, positive communication with families.

    I truly believe that when teachers and families work together, students thrive. I’m so happy to have the wonderful group of students in my class this year, and I deeply appreciate all the parents and guardians who take an active role in their child’s education.
