Student Transfer Requests for 2025-2026 Now Available
The two available transfer requests are for majority-to-minority transfers and for unique, extraordinary hardships.
Please remember that all transfers must be requested annually; therefore, any student on a 24-25 transfer will be placed back into the residentially zoned school unless a transfer for the 25-26 school year is granted.
The deadline for submitting requests is May 1, 2025, by 4:00 PM.

Elementary and middle schools ONLY will have Parent-Teacher Conferences on Friday, March 21, 2025. Students will not have school that day.
All high school students will attend school as normal. Parents wishing to meet with teachers may schedule meetings with teachers during their planning periods.
2023-2024 Top Gains School Designation
Bayou Vista Elementary School has earned the prestigious Top Gains designation for showing exceptional growth on state assessments. To receive this honor, schools must demonstrate growth that surpasses the state's pre-determined growth goals.
